Co_Lab Books is proud to present our first annual holiday gingerbread house design competition! Push the boundaries of your culinary creativity to take home the prize! A fun and tasty way to celebrate the season and show off the creative talent of Baltimore. Participate as an individual, with a group of friends or as an organization.
Key Dates
Registration Deadline: December 7th by midnight
Drop-Off: December 14th 10am - 3pm or December 15th 10am - 12pm
Reception: December 15th 1pm - 4pm
Any and all are welcome to attend the award reception on Sunday the 15th!

Haus Rules
Original designs or loving reproductions of architectural favorites are both acceptable!
Your haus must be presented on a base, 18" X 18" maximum size
All visible components must be edible. Fully concealed substructures of non-edible but food safe materials are acceptable.
Significant use of gingerbread is required.
Royal icing only! Do not use any material on your entry that requires refrigeration.
Entries left onsite after the date of the judging celebration will be discarded.
Entries will be taste tested!

Tips!
- If baking from scratch, bake several days before assembling to prevent material shrinkage.
- Use a LOT of royal icing to assemble and decorate. Allow to fully harden before moving.
